主人是位布衣老者，指尖捻起茶匙的动作轻如拂尘。他总说茶有性情，需知时节、懂水土，更要惜缘。案上的茶器各有故事：粗陶盖碗来自景德镇的老匠人，青瓷公道杯是旅途中偶然所得，连竹制茶则都透着经年摩挲的温润。

三五茶客围坐，看热水注入时茶叶舒展的姿态，听壶盖轻响如自然私语。从明前茶的鲜爽聊到岩茶的岩骨花香，话题随茶汤渐浓，最后都化作唇边回甘。

茶过三巡，有人临窗写几笔书法，有人静静翻着茶经，老者则在茶案前重新布席。原来品茶从不是目的，而是借一片叶子的滋味，寻回生活本该有的从容与专注。

不知是哪一天，雌燕产卵了，三枚带着褐色斑纹和玄色雀斑的小燕蛋盛在垫着软绵绵毛草的燕窝里。(这是我趁两只燕子都不在教是偷看到的)，不知是雌燕留守孵化，雄燕寻食，仍旧夫妇俩轮番孵化。过了一段功夫，乳燕破壳而出，三只毛茸茸的小脑壳，三张红红的小嘴儿探出巢外，待哺的鸣叫声一直于耳。三个小东西越长越大，饭量也越来越大，也够这夫妇俩忙活的了。片刻夫君飞回顾喂食，片刻浑家飞回顾喂食，一趟又一趟，乐此不疲。在它们眼中，一对夫妇有了一帮本人的后代，再苦再累内心也是甘甜的。三个小东西党羽变硬了，就想展翅试飞了。有一回，一只爪牙未丰的燕子失慎掉到地上，双亲怕儿童遭到其余众生的报复不屈不挠的冲下来，但不管怎样，它们都不会像人那么把儿童抱还家。正在这时候，我的浑家赶快赶到天井把这只小燕子兢兢业业地送回到巢里。谁看到这一幕城市被这种怜子惜女的实情深深冲动，鸟有此心，人有此意。
